On-ramp: pay by card, settle in crypto
You pay by card in euros or dollars, as in any shop. A licensed exchange provider sells you USDT at the current rate, and the amount goes straight to your project's account. You do not need to buy crypto in advance.
How it works
The payment agent issues an invoice in your currency. You pay it by card in the exchange provider's window; the provider buys USDT and credits it to the project account. In the «Strand» story Anna paid €139.50 and the project received 150 USDT.
Who handles verification
Identity checks and the regulator's requirements are handled by the exchange provider, which holds the licence and runs its own procedure. Your card details stay with the provider; the Fractera node neither receives nor stores them.
The way back: off-ramp
A contractor paid in USDT can sell it with the same provider and receive money on a card in their own currency.
Where it sits among the protocols
The exchange goes through an external service and the blockchain, so it is the M2M protocol: every operation is written to the blockchain.
